What we stand for, and why it matters to us
We started We're Not On A Break because we believe the most important relationship in your life deserves more than a few spare minutes between notifications. We exist to help couples slow down, reconnect, and find joy in each other — and we try to run our business in a way that reflects those same values.
What we believe

Connection over screens
We are passionate advocates for mental health and the simple power of quality time. In a world designed to steal your attention, we want to be the gentle reminder to put the phone down — and be fully present with the person you love.

We don't do social media
We've made a deliberate choice not to use most social media platforms. We don't believe their values align with ours, or with what we want for our customers. You'll find us only on YouTube and Pinterest — spaces where we feel we can genuinely educate, inspire, and share our message in a meaningful way.

We stand with the vulnerable
We use our platform to speak up. We stand alongside the people of Palestine, Ukraine, Sudan, and all those suffering under aggression — whether from foreign powers or their own governments. We will always use our voice to campaign for human rights, animal rights, and environmental protection.

Equality without compromise
We have zero tolerance for racism or discrimination of any kind, including attitudes towards sexual orientation, gender, or identity. We see every person as fully equal, and we always will.

Made with love, made by hand
Our products are genuinely handmade. We gather pebbles and sea glass from local beaches, add our own artwork, and create something that carries real meaning. Every piece is made with care, and with the environment in mind. We use as little packaging as possible and minimise plastic wherever we can — while still making sure your order arrives safely, wherever you are in the world.

Giving back, every year
Each year, we donate a share of our profits to a local charity. We particularly care about supporting families in our community who are struggling with the rising cost of living — because we believe a small business can be a small force for good.
